The Assistant Director position is essential to what we do at Chick-fil-A Austintown. Each Assistant Director will be working underneath a Director of a department (Front of House, Back of House, Training, Marketing) in order to ensure creation and implementation of systems, as well as the leading and coaching of Shift Leaders, Trainers, and Team Members with whom they are working. They are required to report to the Director over their department and are essential in the structure of leadership at our store.

Responsibilities:
- Provides a “REMARK”able dining experience for all guests
- Engage and develop Shift Supervisors, Shift Supports, Trainers, and Team Members on sense of urgency, executing systems that promote a clean environment, delivering Chick-fil-A’s Recipe for Service, and serving crave-able food, through all sales channels (drive thru, catering, etc).
- Schedules and facilitates frequent and consistent 1-on-1 Meetings with Shift leaders.
- Leads and maintains a culture of healthy communication (Intra-departmental & Inter-departmental)
- Aligns daily practices with food safety best practices and keeping in alignment with the Food Safety & Compliance Team Lead
- Aligns daily practices with the vision of the organization and the vision of their director
- Creates and adjusts systems in order to best care for the team, guest, and business
- Creates plans & takes action to support the goals of senior leadership (annual goals & organizational focuses).
