What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Floater/Flex Staff position at Christ Lutheran Early Childhood Center?
CLECC is a small, family focused program that promotes a warm, Christian environment. We pride ourselves on being a tight knit community who know each child on a personal level. Our days are spent creating a caring and enriching environment, full of age appropriate activities that stimulate learning.
We are seeking assistant teachers with a love for working with children to join our mission providing quality care. Assistant teachers need good communication skills and create positive relationships with both children and their parents. We have children from 6 weeks old to 3 years.
Looking for someone who can work afternoons, with a strong possibility of additional hours. Let me know your schedule, we are flexible!
Duties
Assist in creative play inside and out.
Actively engage in classroom games and reading stories, keep the classrooms clean and safe.
Have good communication skills with parents through our app and in person.
Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
Follow all center policies and state regulations.
Clean classroom at end of day.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of child care experience.
High energy and fun!.
Ability to work well with others.
Strong communication skills.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain in 3 months, paid for by center.
Clear full background check.
Salary : $16 - $17
