Summary

Looking for full-time childcare teacher to work with infants and toddlers.

Teachers at Christ Lutheran Early Childhood Center manage the day-to-day activities in their classroom, by working with the director and head teacher to develop a weekly curriculum, that includes a diverse class structure and plenty outdoor time for our children. We are looking for teachers who understand the children's needs and to help them develop social and life skills in a fun and exciting environment that will stimulate their curiosity and encourage them to want to learn. Hands on activities, in music, arts, story time, and creative play, are all part of our daily routine, as well as lots of fresh air time outside!

Duties

We want teachers who care about children, who love teaching, and want to come to work everyday.
Our teachers work with our director and head teacher create a curriculum that inspires children to want to learn, engages them in activities, and sparks their interests in new ideas.
We want teachers that understand children and their social and emotional development.
Our teachers need good communication skills with their children and their families, as well as their co-workers, to create a familial environment where we all excel.

Requirements

Previous experience in a childcare a must.
Teachers need to have, or desire to develop, the skills to communicate with the parents or guardians regularly throughout the day. Teachers need to be role models, keep the classrooms clean and safe, always be kind, lead by example. Teachers need to follow all Clecc and state and health department regulations, as well as required trainings throughout the year.
