CHALLENGER 605 FIRST OFFICER

Job Description: 

The successful candidate will work as a team member in a crew environment, be safety-oriented, possess strong leadership skills, and embody superior customer service, as well as perform the duties of a Challenger 605 First Officer for part 91 operations including:

• Responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which he/she is assigned while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local and foreign regulations, policies and procedures
• Comply with schedules and other directives governing aircraft operation
• Ensure pre-flight inspections are performed and aircraft is prepared for flight
• Study weather conditions at destination, enroute, at alternate airports and departure points
• Prepare and file flight plans as required
• Review and calculate aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board and performance charts
• Assist in cleaning, stocking and updating avionics of company aircraft as needed
• Insuring all aspects of aircraft readiness for upcoming trips
• Maintaining communications with operations
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
• CRM(?)  and interpersonal skills with team member
• Must be willing to occasionally work weekends

Average 200 flight hours per year to include 2-3 International Flights

First Officers estimated annual compensation years 1-3: $94,000-$111,000

Minimum Qualifications for First Officer

Valid Driver’s License

Valid Unrestricted Passport

Ability to pass CANPASS

Must be able to work in the USA legally

Current FAA First Class Medical

Commercial Pilot Certificate

FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit

Able to lift at least 75 lbs.

Must pass Company background checks

Must pass pre-employment drug test

No accident, incident, or enforcement in the past 5 years

Minimum Flight Experience

1500 Hours Total Flying Time

500 Hours Pilot-In-Command Flying Time

25 Hours Multi-Engine Flying Time

75 Hours Instrument Time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Multi-Engine ATP (Bombardier C604/C605/C650 Type Rating preferred)*

*The Company will type the successful applicant, a training agreement will be required

Previous experience in corporate aircraft (Part 135/91) preferred but not required

ATP, ATP-CTP or ATP written complete

2000 hours total flight time

500 hours of multi-engine fixed-wing experience.

250 hours Turbine

100 hours Jet
