Position: Inside Sales RepresentativeSummary: Provides excellent service through building relationships with existing customers as well as offering additional products and services to meet their demands and proactively targets new customers by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Increases business by building better relationships with existing top customer base.
- Handles inbound calls and emails to convert into sales.
- Sells additional products and services to customers proactively.
- Communicates what products we have and adapts them to the customers’ needs.
- Provides workable alternatives to customer problems.
- Generates new business by proactively calling previous customers.
- Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
- Fields technical calls and questions when applicable.
- Prepares quotes for customers.
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM.
- Takes part in special projects as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, accounting software, inventory software, internet software, and order processing systems.
Education/Experience:
Associate degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and six months to a year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
