JOB SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Breakfast Attendant to join our team at a unique, independently operated 80-room hotel. This role includes setting up, breaking down, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked continental breakfast area, assisting with food prep, and ensuring guests start their day with great service. Ideal candidates work well independently, value cleanliness, and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
SCHEDULE:
- 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- 6 days per week (Saturday & Sunday required)
- 36 hours per week
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and replenish the continental breakfast area each morning
- Ensure all food and beverage items are fresh, well-stocked, and attractively presented
- Greet guests warmly and assist with any questions or special needs
- Monitor and clean the breakfast area throughout the shift, ensuring a tidy and sanitary environment
- Handle inventory and restocking of breakfast supplies
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed
- Assist with basic kitchen or dish washing tasks
- Communicate guest feedback and any issues to the front desk promptly
- Maintain accurate records as required by management
- Work collaboratively with other team members to support overall hotel operations (including oversight of pool operations during the Summer months)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or customer service preferred
- A friendly, positive, and professional demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday are required)
- Availability to work six days per week
- Availability to work holidays
