Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH)is hiring a certified Physical Therapy Assistant to join their team providing services at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri.CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

Emphasis is placed on collaboration and teamwork, and new therapists are encouraged to grow their skills through professional development and mentorship. The department routinely finishes within the 90
thpercentile or better in the nation for patient satisfaction.
A typical dayincludes:Assisting therapists to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient therapy treatments utilizing appropriate procedures, equipment,and supplies to achieve intended outcomes.

- Follows plans of care provided by therapistsand monitorand reportprogress
- Communicates with patients and caregivers to provide clear directionson the use of rehabilitativedevices and equipment
- Documents patientcare services with relevant and timely information
- Prepares and maintains work spaces and equipment
Job Requirements
- Education:Completion of aPhysical Therapy Assistant program with an Associate'sDegree from an accredited institution
- Experience:New graduates welcome; 1year of experience preferred
- Skills:Patient care, problem-solving, customer service, and listening skills
- Licensure/Certification:Current Missouri Physical Therapy Assistant Certificate
- Physical:Prolonged periods of standing and walking, ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with patient and/or equipment assistance, ability to carry up to 35 lbs.
