Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day contract management of the company’s agents and agencies for our domestic markets Train and mentor team to ensure timely setup, maintenance, problem resolution and communication based on contract terms. Company expert on the contracting process through the company systems and various vendors utilized within the company.
WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO
- Serve as the lead point of contact for contracting matters regarding the agents and agencies.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholder and executive sponsors.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery as it pertains to the onboarding and maintenance of our agents and agencies.
- Resolve onboarding issues or concerns promptly to maintain trust of the company.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations.
- Notify Channel Partner Support Team Manager and other relevant stakeholders of any issues.
- Responsible for the contract management of the company’s agents and agencies.
- Manages team and reviews and approves all aspects of the agent setup process.
- Obtain thorough knowledge of our contracting system and remain up to date with required changes.
- Follow appropriate internal controls as it pertains to contracting processes, systems and state appointment (initial and renewals) are kept up to date and on time for the domestic market.
- Ensure smooth onboarding experience for agents and agencies onboarded within the domestic market.
- Oversees completion appointments for all agents and agencies as well as other legal requirements.
- Recommends to the marketing team potential agent and agency for termination based on contractual requirements.
- Work closely with the contracting team to ensure guidelines are met and create efficiencies as needed.
- Thorough knowledge of the company, products, and processes as well as the client’s industry, functions and values.
- Point person for the agency recruiters by providing training and guidance through the agent onboarding process.
- Act as an ambassador for the company by helping to promote and maintain a positive company image.
- Manages/approves manual adjustments to the independent consultants account including policy application related fees, bonuses and return items.
- Must be able to build relationships with other company teams to provide excellent service to our agents and agencies.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED [Qualifications; see examples below]
- 2 years Management and relevant experience.
- Possesses the ability to excel in fast-paced environments, demonstrating agility, adaptability to frequent changes, and a capacity to quickly learn and implement new processes.
- Life Insurance: Knowledge of life insurance products, market segments, and marketplaces; ability to apply knowledge of life insurance products, market segments, and marketplaces to meet business goals and objectives.
- Ability to effectively respond to questions from managers, staff, and agents and agencies.
- Ability to communicate and escalate issues to management clearly and effectively.
- Outstanding organizational skills, including prioritizing and follow-up and the ability to handle competing demands and priorities.
- Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to think analytically and strategically to identify and solve problems, implement solutions, and advance business initiatives.
- Must be fully proficient with SharePoint and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Sircon knowledge a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish and English a plus.
- Preferred: Experience in Life Insurance Contract Management preferred.
