What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Program Assistant (4-H) - Extension Services position at Citrus County Government?
In cooperation with the University of Florida, performs various tasks to support the Citrus County 4-H Youth Development Program. The 4-H Program Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of 4-H youth development programs. This role involves working closely with volunteers, families, and community partners to ensure engaging, educational, and inclusive youth programming. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, helpful, responsive, organized, and thrives in a dynamic environment. Work involves preparing educational materials for 4-H club and county programs; recruiting volunteers and members; training youth and adult volunteers in their role with community clubs and school enrichment programs, planning and implementing day and residential camping programs. Position’s immediate supervisor is the 4-H Extension Agent.
