Operations Specialist
City Dogz is seeking a reliable, organized, and dog-loving Operations Specialist to drive daily operations while delivering exceptional customer care. This role is a hybrid of front-of-house and administrative duties and hands-on dog care and facility operations. This is an active, all-encompassing position—everyone helps wherever needed. We are a team!
Position Overview
The Operations Specialist is primarily responsible for client communication, check-ins and check-outs, food and medication distribution, grooming coordination, daily administrative tasks, cleaning and maintenance, and opening/closing procedures. You’ll also assist with dog care, play groups, and facility upkeep to help keep our daycare running smoothly.
Schedule and Pay
This position starts between $14-15 per hour depending on experience level and interview.
The schedule for this position requires 2 6-7hr shifts in the morning and 1 12hr all day shift per week for a total of 20-30hours per week. Weekends and Holidays will be required. We offer 1.5x normal pay when working on the day of major holidays, as defined by the company.

Primary Responsibilities
- Greet clients and manage daily check-ins and check-outs
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and communicate with pet parents
- Give potty breaks to dogz
- Ensure client information stays up to date
- Prepare reports for add on services
- Accurately record and track customer belongings
- Administer food, medications, and water to dogz
- Track information pertaining to meals and medications in the booking software (Gingr)
- Support basic bookkeeping and administrative duties
- Maintain shift communication with other team members
- Clean and sanitize facility, wash dishes, and complete laundry
Secondary Responsibilities (Dog Care Support)
- Assist with play groups and monitor dog behavior
- Take photos of dogz and document behavior notes
- Help complete grooming services for departing dogz
- Support yard prep, room resets, and end-of-day routines (potty breaks, kennel cleaning, water checks, overnight setup, etc)
