GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORKER II
The City of Ada is accepting applications for the position General Maintenance Worker II. Individual selected will be responsible to lead, oversee and perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled work in the maintenance, repair, alteration and construction of city buildings and facilities including carpentry, plumbing, heating/air conditioning and electrical trades work. This is the journey level class in the General Maintenance Worker series. Positions at this level are distinguished from other classes within the series by the level of responsibility assumed and the complexity of duties assigned. Employees perform the most difficult and responsible types of duties assigned to classes within this series including conducting the most complex carpentry, electrical, plumbing and building construction duties. Employees at this level are required to be fully trained in all procedures related to assigned area of responsibility.
