$32.92 to $39.21 per hour per 2023-2025 I.U.O.E., Local 49 contract depending upon qualification and experience, plus excellent benefits. - Provides skilled assistance in the maintenance and monitoring activities of the City’s water, wastewater, and stormwater systems and equipment, which includes: locating lines and performing visual inspections of sewer and storm sewer system; utilizing CCTV equipment; cleaning sewer and storm sewer lines, repairing and maintaining water distribution pipes, valves, meters, hydrants and other related equipment; and performing flushing operations.
- Performs field lab review and sample collection. Records information in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Collects, prepares and enters system, water quality, and related data; compiles and prepares reports; and maintains records, files and work-related documentation.
- Performs related support functions, which includes: plowing snow; responding to customer inquiries; and monitoring inventory.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- One year maintenance and equipment operation or related experience.
- Current Minnesota Class A Commercial Driver's License with air brake and tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
- Class D water certification or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
Desirable Requirements
- Two years’ experience in operation of trucks and light equipment.
- Two years’ experience in a municipal utilities department.
- Class SD certification or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
- Ability to obtain certifications as required by supervisor.
