POSITION SUMMARY: The Custodial Technician position is responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance and miscellaneous duties to ensure that municipal buildings and facilities are maintained in a clean, healthy, safe and sanitary manner. Examples of work include cleaning, disinfecting, removal of trash, stocking of supplies, maintenance of different types of flooring, vacuuming, dusting, facility set-ups and light maintenance and repair. This position works under the general supervision of the Supervisor II and/or the Maintenance Superintendent.
CLOSING DATE: Until Filled
WORK HOURS: Saturday through Wednesday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm;
WORK LOCATION: In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requires work to be performed onsite.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $19.86 per hour and will increase to $20.65 per hour after 6 months of successful probation. Please click on this link for compensation/benefits information

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- A High school graduate or GED equivalent is required.
- At least one (1) year of experience in performing custodial, building, mechanical, grounds maintenance or janitorial tasks is required.
MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license with the ability to be insured under the City of Branson's insurance coverage when driving a city-owned vehicles
- Must be highly engaged in the department's goals and be able to work cooperatively with the department's leadership in achieving those goals.
- Must possess a high degree of integrity, strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must properly follow all provisions of the City of Branson and the Park's & Recreational Department policies and procedures.
- Must complete two (2) custodial maintenance online training courses within 12 months of hire date.
- Must complete customer service skills online training within 12 months of hire date.
- Must obtain an OSHA 10 certification within 12 months of hire date.
- Must act safely and follow safety standards while at work.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings.
