SALARY: $20.00 - $36.00 per hour depending on qualifications
HOURS OF WORK: 28 hours per week
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The City of Dearborn is recruiting H.V.A.C. Inspectors for its Economic Development Department.
To make inspections of heating, ventilating, refrigerating and air-conditioning systems for compliance with codes and ordinances.
NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Heating & refrigeration licenses required. (Please submit documentation with application.)
- State Act 407 certification is required. Applicant shall be registered under Public Act 407 as a Mechanical Inspector and Plan Reviewer or able to obtain Act 407 certification.
- Strong commercial experience required.
- Must have a valid state of Michigan driver's license and be willing and able to operate own vehicle to drive to and from inspection sites.
NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must submit to pre-employment physical and a criminal history check.
