What are the responsibilities and job description for the WasteWater Plant Operator III position at CITY OF DUBLIN?
The City of Dublin has an opening for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator III. This individual will be responsible for cleaning wires, channels, grit chamber, rake and bar screen, dispose of sand and waste as necessary, prepare log sheets, change charts, and daily updates various test reports. Individual will collect samples of sewage as needed; performs routine tests, such as Ph, chlorine residual, settable solids, BOD dissolved oxygen, and a temperature test. Shift work is required. Starting salary is $16.57 per hour for Class III trainee and $18.44 for Class III Operator.
Applicants must be willing to work shift work, must possess a valid Georgia Driver's License, and have a high school diploma or GED. The successful applicant must pass a drug screen.
