Make a Difference as a Water Resources Plant Mechanic!
As a Water Resources Plant Mechanic, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing essential equipment that powers our water resources. You’ll work with a dynamic range of systems, including pumps, motors, chemical feed equipment, compressors, valves, piping, and generators. In this role, you’ll contribute your expertise to install, troubleshoot, and keep our critical equipment in top shape.The job is NON-EXEMPT under FLSA.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hiring Salary Range: $48,438.00 - $55,358.00 Full Salary Range: $42,075.00 - $55,358.00

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma /GED
- "OR" an equivalency of 3 years of education "and" 6 years of related work experience in a mechanical or electronic field
- 4 years of related experience in the mechanical or electronic field
- Valid Driver's License.
- Prior experience with small tools, welders, cutting torches, etc.
- Class B Commercial Driver's License ( "OR" the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire )
- Certified Forklift Operator (ability to obtain one within 6 months from date of hire).
An Ideal Candidate Would Also Possess (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous work experience in a Water Reclamation facility
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Previous experience working with diesel power generators
