To view full job description, please click on the job title: Assistant Director of Public Works- Internal Operations Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, public administration, business administration, economic, or related field supplemented by five (5) years of governmental budgeting and/or accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience in Public Works management or supervision. Two (2) years of auditing, construction accounting, cost accounting, governmental budgeting and/or financial analysis experience. Additional education and experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the above requirements.
Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions to perform this job successfully.
