The City of Jefferson is now accepting applications for Ice Arena Managers for our Parks and Recreation Department at the Washington Park Ice Arena. Responsible for employee supervision and motivation; facility cleanliness and safety; maintaining quality ice conditions; public relations; supervision of participants and enforcement of rules and regulations; attend to all daily tasks necessary for the efficient and effective operation of the Ice Arena as assigned; accurate record keeping; accurately dealing with large sums of money; reading and recording compressor data; manager or assistant manager will be on duty at all public sessions.
The starting pay for Ice Arena Managers is $15.30 an hour.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, 20 years of age preffered.
Requires CPR and first aid certification.
Experience in employee supervision is preferred.
