Customer Service Representative II

Customer Service Representative Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Serving as Manager on Duty for various days and evenings throughout the week and on weekends.
- Conducting facility walk throughs, counting down cash drawers and opening and closing the building.
- Assisting the Supervisor with the training and time management of Customer Service Representatives.
- Greeting members, guests and prospective guests in a positive manner.
- Managing all front desk related activities including answering phones, checking in members, signing up new members and giving tours.
- Ensuring members are able to update their accounts and answer any questions that may arise.
- Supervising the front desk or welcome area to ensure a smooth flow of patrons entering and exiting the facility.
- Maintaining the recreational equipment with regular cleanings and inspections as well as keeping the coffee bar stocked and clean.
Working hours are Monday through Friday, 4:30 AM – 10:30 PM, Saturday, 6:30 AM – 8:30 PM, Sunday 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM, flexible scheduling is available. Benefits include a free membership to The Pointe.
Customer Service Representative Qualifications / Skills:
- Basic computer proficiency and phone etiquette.
- Positive attitude and a passion for helping people.
- Ability to interact with different types of people in a positive and professional way and going beyond the status quo.
- Ability to listen and empathize with members and co-workers to solve problems.
- Working knowledge of company safety protocols and ability to administer minor medical care.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- A calm, friendly demeanor and good conflict resolution skills.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-year customer service, supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Current lnfant/Child/Adult CPR and First Aid with AED certification from Jeff Ellis & Associates, American Red Cross, or American Heart Association required or ability to obtain upon employment offer.
