Farmers Insurance is looking for an individual that will be working full time as a processor of documents for policies on the new and existing business levels. The customer service & sales representative will have the opportunity to earn commission on the sales and retention that they ensure close due to their document verification and collection efforts. Responsibilities
Policy Servicing and Maintenance
Process changes to existing policies, such as address updates, adding/removing vehicles or drivers, and cancellations or reinstatements.
Client Communication
Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing clear and professional assistance.
Claims Assistance Assist clients with filing claims, explain the claims process, and follow up with adjusters when necessary.
Quoting and Cross-Selling
Provide insurance quotes and identify opportunities to cross-sell additional coverages or policies.
Payment Processing
Collect and process premium payments, assist with billing questions, and help set up payment plans or auto-pay.
Documentation and Record Keeping
Maintain accurate client records, including policy notes, communication history, and document uploads.
Customer Retention and Relationship Management
Conduct renewal follow-ups, schedule policy reviews, and build long-term client relationships to improve retention.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, Associates/Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (composition and grammar) are a MUST
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to work efficiently and be assertive in a collaborative environment
- Results-oriented, with strong critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work well independently, multi-task, and handle time-sensitive material in a fast-paced environment
- Current Property and Casualty License for Texas required
- Commercial insurance experience a plus
Salary : $36,000 - $45,000
