FIREFIGHTER TRAINEE ($31.639 hourly)
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 19 years old on or before the posted closing date of October 20, 2024.
Candidates must meet physical requirements as established by the City of Lincoln.
Possession of valid driver's license.
MUST POSSESS A CURRENT NEBRASKA STATE OR NATIONAL REGISTRY EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT) AT TIME OF APPLICATION.
Must obtain the following certifications within 120 days of appointment:
IFSAC/Pro-Board Firefighter I
IFSAC/Pro-Board Firefighter II
IFSAC/Pro-Board Hazardous Materials Operations
NOTE: Applicants who successfully meet minimum requirements will be scheduled for the on-line written exam scheduled for Monday, October 28, 2024. Detailed test information will be sent by e-mail to qualified candidates after the posted closing date.
