THESE ARE FULL TIME, SEASONAL POSITIONS. Positions are not eligible for benefits.
Lincoln Transportation and Utilities is looking for Temporary Street Maintenance - Summer Hires. This is general laboring work with duties to include participating in activities related to the construction and maintenance of streets and drainage systems, and general shop work.
Work hours may vary based on seasonal needs. Hours are subject to change/OT during emergencies.
Regular Hours: Monday - Friday; 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Seasonal Summer Hours (Memorial Day to Labor Day): Monday - Thursday; 6 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (may start earlier or run later in the season depending on needs.)
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Desired: Some general laboring experience.
Necessary Special Requirement: Possession of a valid driver's license.
Temporary, on call, and seasonal positions with the City are not eligible for benefits.
