SEASONAL POOL LIFEGUARD OR WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR

The Neenah Parks and Recreation Department employs summer staff ages 15 & older for recreation in sports, playgrounds & swimming pool. Requirements :

• 15 years of age by opening of the Neenah Pool Season.

Ability to work with varied age groups.

Decision-making skills.

Lifeguard : Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training / First Aid / CPR / AED.

Water Safety Instructor : Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI).

Job Description :

Water Safety Instructor : In addition to the above : Responsible for planning coordinating and teaching Parent and Child Aquatics, Preschool Aquatics, Learn-to-Swim and / or Water Safety courses, according to American Red Cross guidelines.
