The City of O'Fallon is looking for an energetic and caring team member for the position of Kids Korner / Stay n Play Attendant. This position plays an important role in providing childcare services for patrons of the city gym. Our Kids Korner Attendants enjoy a fun work environment, with plenty of variety in their workdays. The expected starting hourly rate for this position is $14.40. For this position opening we are looking for someone who has morning availability.
We're looking for someone who has the desire to provide a fun and safe experience for kids and possesses strong oral and written communication skills. This person should be able to easily learn department policies and procedures and have knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment.
As a Kids Korner Attendant, your duties and responsibilities will include :
- Supervising and ensuring the safety of children in Kids Korner
- Answering questions from and providing information to parents
- Cleaning and stocking toys, equipment and supplies
- Maintaining accurate attendance records
- Administers first aid as needed
- Attending mandatory quarterly staff meetings
