Recreation Leader (Skate Park)
Location: Skate Park and various
Days of Operation: Mon-Sun
Work Days: any
Hours of Operation: Mon- Sun
Under supervision, is responsible for staffing the Skate Park; various other locations as needed
Oversees assigned functional areas of the Skate Park; reports to the Recreation Supervisor on activities; carries out policies in dealing with specific groups; oversees the use of equipment and supplies.
Experience in the type of activities to be directed; strong customer service skills.
Knowledge of: The problems involved in the leadership of several broad types of recreation activities.
Recreation equipment; skateboards, and helmets.
Position requires employee to continuously stand, walk, talk or hear. May reach with hands and arms; frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and lift up to 50 lbs.; and occasionally sit.
Position requires employee to continuously work in outdoor weather conditions, and work with a variety of outside noise and light conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
