The City of Peoria is searching for an energetic, self-driven person to join Beardsley Reclamation Facility. This role involves direct interaction with City staff across various departments and divisions, as well as with external customers and vendors. The primary purpose of this position is to support the lead operator or operator in charge with operational duties. Strong communication skills are essential to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate for this position will have
- Previous experience in a Municipal/Government setting
- The ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working with a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA)
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system.

Minimum Requirements
Education
- High school graduation or equivalency.
Experience
- Preferred previous experience in a similar role or completion of the Peoria Water Services internship program.
Physical Demands
- Work requires heavy physical exertion and effort.
Licenses and Certifications
- Valid Arizona Class "D" Drivers license upon hire.
- Must obtain an Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Grade I Wastewater Treatment Certification within one year of hire.

Salary : $40,000 - $80,000
