What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Coordinator I position at City of Rifle?
Job Summary:
Entry-level position, supporting Recreation personnel in the success and coordination of activities and programs of the Recreation Department. This is an in-person position that is not eligible for remote work.
Experience and Training:
Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred. Consideration will be given for a combination of education and related work experience.
Work Experience in Positions Similar or Related to This Job: Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to attain certifications in 3 months.
Job Requirements: Valid Colorado Driver’s License or ability to obtain with six months of hire. Must be able to pass a background check and MVR with results that are acceptable to the City of Rifle. Ability to work evening and weekend hours as required.
This position is full-time with benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance, as well as retirement, vacation, sick, and holiday pay. Wage range is $22.31-$24.60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is open until filled.
