GENERAL SERVICE WORKER

The Human Service & Community Vitality Department is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Senior Services Division as a General Services Worker. This role plays a vital part in supporting daily programs, activities, and operations at the Surprise Senior Center.

We are looking for a candidate with an outgoing personality who thrives in a team environment. Responsibilities may shift daily to meet the overall needs of programming, Flexibility and adaptability are key for candidate.  This part-time position may be schedule between 4 hours up to 19 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday, with schedules varying based on programming. Duties will include assistance with recreational activities and programs, food service, and general support throughout the Surprise Senior Center.

SUMMARY
Provides a diverse range of routine general services support to a specified department/unit. May perform clerical services, general labor work and services and/or customer services, and/or other related duties in accordance with day-to-day requirements of the specified department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona driver license.
