What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation Attendant position at City Park Conservancy?
SUMMARY: Assists in the maintenance of gardens and grounds throughout City Park.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):
- Summary: Assists with keeping the park grounds free of trash and debris as well as maintaining the cleanliness of various shelters and bathrooms around the park. .
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
- Pickup and removal of all loose paper and debris in assigned area
- Emptying of all trash and recycle bins in assigned area
- Removal of all debris, including tree branches, tires, dead animals, furniture, car parts and any other unwanted debris that is left on park grounds.
- Reporting of graffiti, large debris, or other unwanted items on park grounds so they are immediately addressed
- Cleaning and maintenance of all shelters, bathrooms and other facilities in assigned areas
- Cleaning and maintenance of equipment and tools used throughout the daily course of work
- Cleaning of drains and catch basins
- Operates City Park equipment including but not limited to vehicles, small garden tractors, small engine machines and other equipment necessary
- Assisting other team members and departments as necessary
Qualifications and education requirements:
- A valid Louisiana driver’s license.
