Clark Hill PLC is Seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant in Our Pittsburgh Office
Clark Hill PLC’s Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, office has an immediate position open for an experienced full-time Legal Administrative Assistant, with transactional experience. This position reports to assigned attorneys, as well as the Office Manager, and is responsible for providing the requisite legal secretarial and administrative support (clerical) needs of assigned attorneys; preparation of letters, memos, and other documentation as required; entering conflict information into the system for the purpose of running conflict checks for new clients as well as preparation of supporting documentation; compiling signature pages and assembling closing documents; submitting closing documents, electronically or otherwise, to the appropriate entities; providing documentation, as required, to clients, counsel, and others; making travel arrangements; preparing expense reimbursement documentation; maintaining a system of filing for all attorney work and client information; answering the direct dial phones for assigned attorneys; scheduling.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide legal secretarial and administrative (clerical) support to assigned attorneys, as well as others as may be required from time to time.
- Prepare letters, memos, and other documentation as required.
- Enter conflict information into the system for the purpose of running conflict checks for new clients as well as preparation of supporting documentation.
- Compile signature pages and assemble closing documents.
- Submit closing documents (electronically or otherwise) to the appropriate entities.
- Provide documentation, as required, to clients, counsel, and others.
- Make travel arrangements.
- Prepare expense reimbursement documentation.
- Maintain an appropriate filing system for all attorney and client work.
- Answer incoming phone calls for assigned attorneys, unless otherwise directed.
- Schedule meetings and other events as needed.
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned or requested (as needed) by the attorneys, paralegals, or Office Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
Must possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of transactional experience.
- Experience in corporate/business law is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills utilizing MS Word, Outlook, and related MS software.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Excellent prioritization skills, and the ability to manage a diverse workload for multiple people.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
Salary : $53,700 - $67,900
