Accounting Manager

CLARK Material Handling Company, a global leader in the forklift/material handling industry, has an opening for an Accounting Manager in our Flower Mound, TX Global Headquarters office. This position will be responsible for the overall management of the Accounting Department. Will be the key finance team member responsible for managing the U.S. monthly close process, assisting with SEC reporting, taxes and developing staff members in order to build scale and leverage to support a growing business. This an onsite position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

• 
  Manage an accurate and timely domestic accounting close including preparation and review of accruals and account reconciliation
• sResponsible for the preparation of Sales and Use taxes, as well as Tangible and Intangible tax return
• sResponsible to maintain fixed asset
• sResponsible for leading accounts payable operation
• sResponsible for overseeing corporate and sales ta
• xResponsible for directing and coordinating the work of a number of accounting associates in all aspects of accountin
• gPrepare monthly financial and various detailed analyses
• .Assist with SEC reporting and financial statement preparatio
• nProvide technical accounting research and accounting implementation guidanc
• eDrive continuous improvement of internal policies, processes and control
• sImprove and develop internal financial report
• sWork closely with public accountants during quarterly reviews and annual audi

Minimum Qualification

• s:BA/BS Degree in Accounting with at least 5 years of experience managing an accounting departme
• ntCPA Preferr
• edProven supervisory experien
• ceSuperior experience with Microsoft Offi
