SUBSTITUTE - BUS DRIVERS
Job Title: Substitute Bus Driver Reports to: Transportation Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED;
- Must possess or be able to obtain the appropriate CDL license;
- Must have no points on driving record;
- Must be able to pass physical, including drug test;
- Fingerprint background check is required;
- Must pass a criminal background check that meets required state, federal, and Clarkston School District standards;
- Satisfactory completion of Bus Driver training course;
- Must have, or be able to obtain, current valid CPR/First aid certificate
- Safe Schools Training is REQUIRED, and needs to be completed BEFORE start date
Job Description:
- Drives bus on assigned routes in a legal and safe manner
- Reports misconduct on bus through established district procedures
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure bus is in safe operating condition
- Cleans bus interior and exterior as needed
- Completes paperwork as required
- Other duties as assigned by Transportation Supervisor
