Job Description
GRAPHIC DESIGNER - Automotive Industry / Classic Car & Truck Parts
Hours: Mon – Friday 8:00 -5:00 (100% On-Site)
Status: Fulltime / Hourly / Non-Exempt
This is not a remote position. Candidates must be able to work on-site.
Ideal Candidate:
Will be comfortable designing, editing, proofing, archiving and formatting the layout of: Manuals, Trade Show Signage, Magazine Ads, Logos, Product Packaging, Product Photography and Marketing Materials.
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years experience working as a graphic designer in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
· Accustomed to high volume catalog production
· Experienced in typography
· Complete knowledge and expert use of Adobe Creative Suite 5: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Acrobat
· Advanced knowledge and use of DSLR cameras, studio lighting equipment and lighting techniques
· Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
· Able to prioritize projects to meet strict deadlines
· Above average verbal and written communication skills
· Flexibility and willingness to learn and understand business aspects
· MS Office knowledge and advanced use of Word, Excel, Outlook
· Digital video capture and editing knowledge
· Webdesign and HTML
· Familiar with SEO and social media platforms
· CSS coding would be a PLUS
· Automotive industry knowledge and/or experience a huge PLUS!
Job Duties:
· Tech and Installation Manuals
· High Volume catalog production
· Trade show signage and materials
· Designing magazine ads (20 national ads per month)
· Logos, product packaging
· Product photography
· Responsible for printed and email marketing materials including, but not limited to: flyers, newsletters, press releases, brochures, catalogs, posters, webdesign, signage
Education:
Degree in Art / Graphic Design
