Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Configuration Analyst to join our team at Clearance Jobs. This senior role will oversee and ensure the implementation of configuration management for multiple solid rocket motor projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures.
- Lead and oversee configuration identification, control, auditing, status accounting, and verification processes.
- Evaluate and apply configuration control to complex engineering changes within the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to plan and manage product baselines and documentation.
- Conduct configuration audits to verify conformance to requirements and facilitate the resolution of discrepancies.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding and experience with configuration management standards and practices (e.g., ISO, ANSI, CMII). They will also be proficient in using configuration management software tools and systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in configuration management or a related field, preferably within the aerospace industry.
