SUMMARY:
The IT Director will manage and lead employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees. Will run and manage the IT Department from staff, high level strategic planning and overall outlook of the IT department. Manage all IT related costs, managed service providers, outsourced IT services and internal IT staff. The best candidate will have broad exposure to applications, infrastructure, and security experience. Also experience deploying robust and cost-effective technology solutions to meet business needs.
DUTIES:
- Establish IT departmental goals and objectives
- Develop, maintain, and track IT annual budgets and capital budgets
- Develop business case justifications and cost / benefit analysis for IT projects
- Review hardware requirements and deploy hardware lifecycle management
- Approve, prioritize and participate in all software evaluations and deployments for Express
-Provide oversight to both Infrastructure/Security and Application Development teams
- Provide oversight of the teams managing network and information systems integrity
- Maintaining records, oversight, and contracts of all software and IT vendors
- Creating documented standards and procedures for determining and implementing technical and software solutions
- Participating in all hardware and software evaluations
- Continually reviewing current state of IT environment to ensure consistency, maintainability and fit for purpose of hardware and applications in use
- Technical ownership of all systems in use, including ERP and interconnected systems
- Leading new ERP project as primary subject matter expert and point of contact for technical configuration and development
- Must have technical capability, business acumen, strategic thinking, customer/client focus and leadership.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 12 years of experience within information technology.
- Experience in the most current technologies and products used in the industry.
- Familiarity with MS Office 365 environments and SharePoint
- Project management experience, including organizing and executing projects
- Experience with information systems security and best practices
- Experience managing IT infrastructure services providers
- Experience leading ERP implementation project as primary subject matter expert and point of contact for technical configuration and development
- Previous experience in PowerBI Implementation/Development/Administration
- Previous experience in SharePoint Development/Administration
- Physical security experience, including access control and cameras a plus
- Ability to integrate with business operations and work as part of a team
- Willing to role sleeves up and be hands on with hardware and software management
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or related experience.
