Position Overview:
This position leads cross-functional initiatives spanning Epic Informatics, Population Health, Research IT, and Patient Experience. The Director will oversee complex clinical systems and data integration projects while mentoring internal teams and aligning technology strategy with operational goals. The ideal candidate combines deep Epic expertise with strong leadership skills to deliver results, improve workflows, and elevate team performance across diverse technical and clinical environments.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage teams supporting Epic systems, patient engagement tools (e.g., MyChart, HelloWorld), and integrated clinical workflows
• Mentor analysts, developers, and project teams with a focus on skill development and execution excellence
• Oversee aggregation, validation, and reporting of data from payers, employers, and clinical sources
• Support research operations including Epic data extraction, cohort tracking, and regulatory alignment
• Drive patient experience initiatives and optimize Epic configurations for digital engagement
• Represent IT in high-impact operational settings (outpatient, ER, etc.) and collaborate with clinical stakeholders
• Manage cross-functional relationships and deliver outcomes in high-pressure environments
• Guide roadmap development and ensure alignment with enterprise data and population health goals
Qualifications:
7 years in a leadership role across Epic Informatics, Population Health IT, or Clinical Systems
• Epic certification(s) strongly preferred (e.g., ASAP, MyChart, Healthy Planet, Research modules)
• Experience with payer/employer data integration and SQL-based reporting tools
• Proven track record of mentoring and developing high-performing technical teams
• Strong understanding of research workflows and Epic tools used in clinical studies
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholder groups
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability and high emotional intelligence
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
