Career Platform Support (Handshake)
- Review and approve job postings and employer registrations
- Create and manage job collections by major or interest area
- Enter and track events, both virtual and in-person
- Assist with pulling data reports and updating contact logs
- Help plan, promote, and host events (career fairs, employer visits, panels)
- Support setup and takedown of in-person events
- Provide virtual assistance via Zoom (chat, breakout rooms, screenshare)
- Collect and manage RSVP and attendance data
- Distribute surveys and monitor completion rates
- Assist in outreach to recent grads for follow-up info
- Organize and track response data
- Help prepare summaries or visual reports for leadership
- Draft content for LinkedIn and Handshake
- Promote events, workshops, and job/internship highlights
- Share career tips or student success stories
- Track engagement and brainstorm new campaigns
- Collaborate on projects like resource library updates, templates, or slide decks
- Assist with research on employer trends or student needs
- Help build student-facing materials (e.g., career guides, how-to's)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
