Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Sr. Director, Employee Experience & Labor Relations, the HR Business Partner assesses and anticipates human resources-related needs; provides input on workforce and succession planning as well as plans organizational unit restructuring; develops and nurtures partnerships to bridge the divide between management and employees; consults regularly with faculty and management and provides guidance when appropriate; collaborates with colleagues in human resources to develop policies, programs and solutions; analyzes data trends and metrics to inform decisions; mediates and resolves employee relation issues; conducts thorough and objective investigations when necessary; finds ways to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boosts productivity and retention; ensures regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees; interprets human resources policies for faculty and staff; performs other duties of a similar nature as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist or 3 years’ experience as a HR Consultant, HR Manager or HR Business Partner.
- Demonstrated management consulting and management skill building experience.
- Experience in handling employee relations issues, including conducting investigations, interpreting and applying labor laws and providing consultation to management on performance management, organization design and employee engagement matters.
Salary : $65,900 - $83,400
