Direct Hire Director of Nursing Role $90,000-$125,000 per year in Newark, New Jersey
Clinical Magnet (part of Icon Medical) is partnering with one of our largest clients to select their next Director of Nursing for one of their locations near the Newark, New Jersey area.
This is a permanent position!
Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:
- Lead all aspects of the nursing department within the corrections facility
- Work with the assistant director and nursing staff to help lead the clinical operations for an incarcerated population
Requirements for the Director of Nursing:
- 2 years of DON experience is ideal, but will consider other backgrounds for the right candidate
- Strong clinical background, corrections experience is required
- Organization-minded, ability to keep tasks prioritized
- Experience leading staff and holding them accountable to maintain clinical standards
- Strong understanding of clinical quality within corrections
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Current Nursing License
Compensation, Benefits, Schedule for the Director of Nursing:
- $90,000-$125,000 base salary, based on experience
- Full benefits package (medical/dental/pto/etc.)
- Schedule is M-F, Onsite
