Direct Hire Medical Lab Scientist Role $30-$44 per hour in Rockford, Illinois

Clinical Magnet is looking for a Medical Lab Scientist to join our partner's full-time team in the Rockford, IL area. This is an opportunity with a very large, well-known healthcare organization that offers world class healthcare and the ability to work with an incredible, dedicated, diverse team!

Key Responsibilities for the Scientist:
• Working with other scientists, perform and evaluate diagnostic procedures
• Apply principles and techniques of medical sciences

Key Requirements for the Scientist:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge and understanding of medical lab science techniques and theories
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in a science field: chemistry, physical science, biology, medical laboratory science (or similar)
• Accreditation from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or similar agency

Compensation and Schedule for the Scientist:
• Target rate is $30-$44/hr
• Significant Sign-On Bonus!

• Schedule: 3-12-hour shifts weekly (nights) with rotating weekends and holidays
• Other 40-hour/week shifts available as well
