Responsibilities:
The Food Service Worker I will work Per Diem, Various Shifts and Weekends.
- The Food Service Worker completes assigned functions within the department, excellent customer service, operates and maintains the dietary food equipment.
- Through constant interactions with customers, physicians, nursing, and visitors will provide efficient, courteous, and accurate service.
- The Food Service Worker performs a variety of routine duties in the sanitation area of the Food Service Department.
Education/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- Previous Food Service experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
- Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 lbs. for force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
- Occasional balancing, climbing, crouching, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, standing, stooping, tactical sense, visual acuity(color, depth, perception), fit testing.
- Frequent typing/clerical/dexterity, seeing/monitor/computer use, talking.
- Constant walking.
Hazards:
- Occasional bodily fluids/bloodborne exposure, burns, chemical.
Working conditions:
- Occasional noise, wet and/or humid, mists, odors.
Travel:
- The job may require travel from time-to-time, but not on a regular basis.
