About the Role:
The Lead Patient Registration Specialist is a high-impact, multi-site leadership role that sets the tone for patient and guest experiences across CODA’s programs. You will support and guide Site Support Specialists throughout the organization, ensuring a consistent, compassionate, and effective administrative experience. From mentoring new hires to providing on-the-ground coverage during absences, this role balances training, oversight, and direct service in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment
What You’ll Do:
- Train and onboard all new Site Support Specialists; provide continued coaching and development
- Serve as a go-to resource for workflow guidance, protocol clarification, and problem-solving
- Support staffing needs across sites by providing coverage and modeling administrative excellence
- Conduct weekly check-ins with staff to foster strong communication, gather feedback, and build team cohesion
- Partner with the Site Support Manager to monitor performance, track patient flow solutions, and provide regular reporting
- Promote patient satisfaction through excellent customer service, professional communication, and efficient appointment scheduling
- Verify insurance eligibility, process payments, and manage patient charts and records
- Uphold privacy standards and maintain compliance with HIPAA and internal policies
- Travel between sites to support daily operations and special projects
Qualifications
What You Will Bring:
- Required: High school diploma or GED
- Required: At least one year of experience in a medical office or administrative support setting
- Preferred: Two or more years in a customer service role
- Strong leadership skills with a team-first attitude
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards
- Ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and composure
- Proficiency in MS Office and electronic medical records systems
- A valid Oregon or Washington driver’s license
- Willingness to obtain BLS certification and Crisis Prevention training within 90 days of hire

Salary : $58,000 - $63,000
