Senior Full Stack Developer AWS/.NET Core

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in AWS, .NET Core and React to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in React .Net Core and AWS with a preference for experience in Property & Casualty Insurance. This hybrid role offers a day shift schedule with no travel required. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative projects that drive our company’s success and positively impact society.

Roles/ Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using React .Net Core and AWS to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient applications.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and debugging.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and enhancements for existing applications.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Implement best practices for software development including version control continuous integration and deployment.
• Optimize application performance and scalability by identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
• Document technical specifications and processes to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance technical skills and domain knowledge.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrate proficiency in React .Net Core and AWS with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Show experience or familiarity with Property & Casualty Insurance domain as a nice to have skill.
• Display a commitment to quality and attention to detail in all aspects of software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies
• AWS Certified Developer
  
  

Other Compensations

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 – $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
