Title - Test Automation Engineer or SDET
Location - Remote (Hubs - Wilmington, DE or Charlotte, NC or Baltimore, MD or Dallas, TX)
Type - Long Term Contract/Contract to Hire
Responsibilities:
- Automated Test Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for applications using Node.js, Apollo GraphQL, Angular, and AWS.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing throughout the software delivery process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage across new and existing features.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on best practices for test automation and code quality.
- Test Execution & Reporting: Execute automated tests, track results, identify issues, and report defects to ensure high-quality releases
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Angular, Node.js, and Node-based APIs; experience with GraphQL, AWS, and Docker (2-3 years).
- Testing Expertise: Strong experience with Jest, Selenium, Cypress (3 years), and K6 for performance testing.CI/CD Integration: Knowledge of integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience: 5-7 years as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
- Some experience as Software Developer or Software Engineer will be a plus
