Key Responsibilities :
Perform manual routine inspections using hand tools such as calipers, gauges (ring, pin, thread, height), rulers, and visual inspections to assess inbound materials.
Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and regulatory requirements.
May operate upper-level instrumentation for precision measurement.
Operate advanced upper-level instrumentation such as :
Perform inspections on printed materials including primary and secondary labeling, manuals, print inserts, and CDs.
General Responsibilities :
Interpret complex engineering drawings and ensure compliance with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards - ASME Y14.5.
Utilize sampling techniques to determine material compliance and assist in making quality decisions.
Operate and maintain various inspection and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Ensure adherence to ISO, FDA, and industry-specific quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills :
Education : Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience : 2-3 years of quality inspection experience, preferably in medical device manufacturing.
Required Skills :
Strong GD&T background
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Experience with sampling techniques for quality inspections.
ERP system proficiency for data collection and reporting.
Preferred Experience :
Medical device manufacturing quality inspection.
Knowledge of IPC-610-A standards.
Pay Range : $20 / hr. - $22 / hr.
