Job Summary:
The Value and Access Principal Medical Writer is responsible for developing high-quality, submission-ready AMCP dossiers and related payer-focused scientific materials. This role supports value and access objectives by translating complex scientific and health economic data into clear, compliant, and credible documents. The position serves as a subject matter expert in AMCP dossier development while supporting multiple therapeutic assets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, edit, and manage the production of AMCP dossiers and payer-focused scientific presentations
• Collaborate with therapeutic area leads to integrate scientific strategy, value messages, and evidence into dossiers
• Support responses to unsolicited payer and healthcare provider requests related to health outcomes information
• Analyze and interpret clinical, scientific, and health economic data to create accurate and balanced documents
• Perform literature reviews to support dossier development and ensure scientific accuracy
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting quality standards and deadlines
• Identify and resolve issues arising during the writing and review process
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and industry standards
• Ensure timely reporting of adverse events and product complaints per established procedures
Required Qualifications:
• Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Philosophy, or equivalent advanced degree
• Experience developing AMCP dossiers and outcomes research documents
• Industry experience in medical writing or medical communications
• Strong understanding of managed care, payer evidence requirements, and formulary decision-making
• Ability to interpret complex scientific data and tailor content for payer audiences
• Proficiency with Word and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
• Health economics and outcomes research technical training
• Working knowledge of statistical concepts and data interpretation
