Our Idea of a Perfect Candidate Is Someone Who Has The:
- Ability to work well with others and attention to details.
- Knowledge and observance of safety precautions.
- Ability to follow directions and instructions.
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent; one year of commercial cleaning experience.
- Preferred: At least one year of cleaning experience in a school or university setting.
- Clean and dust a variety of areas which may include conference rooms, offices, classrooms, kitchens, living spaces, restrooms, dormitory rooms, laboratories, lobbies, locker rooms, gymnasiums, stairways, corridors and elevators on a daily basis.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain restrooms and showers.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax, shampoo, strip, refinish and spot clean carpeting and hard surface floors as required.
- Clean glass, chalkboards, display cases, interior partitions and light fixtures which are reachable from the floor.
- Empty trash from receptacles and place in dumpsters.
- Considerable physical exertion with extensive standing or walking; Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull; Full use of arms, hands, feet, and legs; Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, with or without corrective lenses; Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
