Description
The goal of the College of the Muscogee Nation Paid Internship Program is to increase student persistence, retention and graduation by allowing students to experience working in their field of study.
Students from all degree programs are encouraged to apply. At least one person will be chosen from each degree program. If there are no applicants for a degree program(s) the committee will chose the next most qualified candidate without concern with which degree program he/she is from. Students are eligible for only one internship through this program.
Qualifications
Intern Criteria
- Intern must be enrolled in currently and maintain 12 or more credit hours at the College of the Muscogee Nation.
- Intern must have completed 12 credit hours within the degree program for which they are interning and currently pursuing.
- Intern are responsible for transportation to and from internship site.
- Intern must be available to work between 12 to 16 hours a week for the length of the trimester (approx. 15 weeks).
- Intern must complete and pass a background check and drug screen.
Review and Selection Process
- Intern will complete the CMN Pain Internship application online.
- Inter will submit transcript and plan of study from CMN.
- Each candidate will participate in a panel interview that will consist of members from the Paid Internship Committee.

Interns Commitment
- Submit all application components by set deadline.
- Fulfill the requirements of the applicable job description.
- Support the mission of the host organization through internship duties.
- Attend Orientation and Closing Session.
- Participate in an evaluation of the program.
