Responsibilities
- Ensure the success of the projects under his/her management.
- Handle all aspects for a project.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to individuals.
- Plan, organize, and supervise the work and workload of project staff.
- Monitor project costs to ensure that project is delivered within budget, fulfills customer expectations for schedule and quality, and/or aligns with the company strategic objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience of AASHTO compliant bridge design/management experience.
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in NY or be able to be licensed in NY.
- Ability to lead multi-discipline bridge projects for public and private sector clients.
- An established business network with DOT, Thruway, and/or Municipal clients and contractors.
- Prior experience with the Federal-Aid project delivery process.
- Proven ability to manage bridge projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams meeting schedule, budget and quality.
- Proven ability to identify, pursue, and win work.
- Ability to work remotely with team members in other offices.
- Familiarity with construction engineering, AREMA based rail bridge design, and/or design build procurement a plus.
- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
