This position is for a Senior Property Accountant in our Vancouver offices. Schedule is Hybrid (three days in office) Mondy to Friday from 8:30 to 4:30
About You
In anticipation of new business, we are proactively seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our existing team. You are a professional property accountant ready to take the next step, working with a national portfolio. You thrive with working within deadlines and providing strong financial reporting for your assigned properties. You identify issues, provide strong analysis on monthly reports and continually seek opportunities for process improvements. You also embrace sharing your knowledge and participate in training for new accountants.
In This Role:
Successfully complete monthly reporting and assist your Accounting Manager in audit processes
Optimally coordinate the integration of new properties into the accounting workflow
What You'll Bring:
Minimum of 5 years of dynamic property accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry
Ability and experience of working to financial deadlines
Strong Excel skills
Bonus skills and experience
Post-secondary education in accounting;
CPA designation completed or in progress is an asset
Strong communication skills
Approximate Salary Range for Role: $80,000 to $95,000
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
